Welcome to my web page, and I hope that you will enjoy looking at just a selection of my work. Comments are very welcome! I love to create atmospheric landscapes, and waterscapes , both real, and from my imagination. Wildlife also features in many of my works. My inspiration comes from the changing moods of nature, such as sunlight glistening on water, or the magic of shadows and clouds moving silently over sunlit fields and meadows, near my home in a small West Norfolk village, on the edge of the Fens.
I have no formal training in art , having pursued a career in the NHS after graduating from University, but I hope that my technique has evolved into an expressive and emotive style. Relocation to Norfolk from Hertfordshire about 10years ago enabled me to devote more time to my artwork, expand my horizons as an artist and to totally immerse myself in the beauty of nature. I work mainly with watercolour, acrylics and pastels, but do sometimes work with oils.
